1. The primary objective of Don Bosco School, Tura is to impart holistic and sound formation to all its pupils  (religious, moral, mental, social and physical). The school endeavours to instill in its students a love for excellence, integrity, concern for one’s fellow human beings, a sense of purpose and respect for self, others and environment. The method of education followed in the institution is the one taught and practiced by St. John Bosco (1815-1888), a great educator of youth. It is based on the reverential love of God, on conviction, on the helpful presence of the educator, timely corrections and guidance.
  2. Special attention is given to ensure that the pupils attain a high academic and moral standard and that they develop a proper spirit of discipline. In order to atain the overall objectives of the institution, the school facilitates and encourages the participation of the students in extra-curricular and co curricular activities. These are different clubs which provide opportunities to students to develop their talents, creativity, and spirit of service and leadership. All the students are expected to take active part in the activities of these clubs. The school also provides opportunities for the development and growth of the individuals through movements and associations like the Scouts and Guides, NCC, Games and Sports, Music, Arts, Promotion of Literacy and Dramatics etc are given importance as they play a dicisive role in the moulding the health and character of the pupils.
